Working Girl Chocolate Chip Contest

Location: The Showcase, Port Angeles

 

Dear Chocolate Chip Cookie and Wine Lovers,

 

This is really tough duty, but we need your help in tasting and picking the best Chocolate Chip Cookie. Then, if that is not hard enough, we need to also pick the best wine to pair with the cookies.

 

This contest started with the recognition of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day on May 15. We decided to hold our own Working Girl contest and received over 15 recipes. We narrowed it down to five.

 

You’re invited to the The Showcase, 833 E. Front Street, in Port Angeles on Wednesday, June 17 at 5:30 p.m. to taste, vote and have fun.
 
Molly and I will prepare & bake one of the recipes in the Showcase’s beautiful demonstration kitchen to get you in the mood… aaah the smell of warm cookies.

 

Then your real work begins…
 

  1. The five trays of cookies (identified by numbers 1 to 5) that made the finals will be unveiled.
  2. You will receive a ballot for voting and begin your tasting
  3. Once the cookie tasting and your scoring is complete, we will start tabulating the results
  4. New ballot will be handed out for wine tasting and pairing from a selection of three Olympic Cellars Wines
  5. Announcement, Awards, Cheers!!!!!
